Jensen's 13th Birthday

Jensen turned 13 on July 2, 2011 and all she wanted was a black lab puppy. Well, she got her wish and we now have a new family member, Saeby! She is a sweet puppy and making her adjustment to our family pretty well. The only adjustment I am not liking is the one she is making to sleeping in her kennel at night. I need a nap!

Wow, life is busy. I know everyone feels this way, but lately it seems to be out of control. Between everyone's schedules I live in my car. We went with Riley to register for her first year of high school. Yes, I said high school. It is so hard to believe that we have a child that old!

As you can see from the pictures above, we are now boat owners. Well, 1/3 boat owners, we have gone in with two other families to purchase and store a boat. Neil, Garrett, and Riley took it out for the first time last weekend when the weather was warm. Jensen and I were in Columbia for soccer so we unfortunately missed the excursion. But we are excited to have access to a boat for the Summer!

Christmas 2010

As usual the Christmas break has gone by too fast! We had a great time this year. The kids and I went up to the Clarks for a couple of days before Christmas and the Gaddums surprised us with a visit for a day. It was so nice to be all together for a brief period. After our trip to Greensboro, we came home and Nana flew in to spend Christmas with us. We all enjoyed her being able to spend some time with us during the holidays! I wasn't a great photographer, but here are a few photos.
