New Kitchen Cabinets

We are in the process of getting our kitchen cabinets re-painted and it is so exciting! We did not get to pick out the original cabinets which were yellow. And we were getting really tired of the yellow so we decided to have them re-painted. We think they look fabulous, although you really can't tell from these pictures.

Happy Birthday Jensen

Long, long time

The age of Facebook has taken over. I have not posted here in so long. I find it hard to do both with so little time! We are having a great summer, but it going by too fast. The Gaddums are on their way here today so we are looking forward to a nice weekend! I can't wait to get some lovin' from my nephews! The Clarks were here last weekend and we had a blast! I am the luckiest Aunt in the world to have so many wonderful nephews who love their Kiki!

Ashley's Surgery

Ashley had surgery the same day we had to put Bailey down. It was quite the traumatic day because when they removed what they thought was a cyst, it was discovered to be bigger and to a mass. It was sent off to the lab to determine what we were dealing with so after six agonizing days, we got the news that it was a basil cell but it was benign! Thank goodness! Ashley is healing well, but will have quite a scar. Luckily it will be covered by hair and you won't be able to see it.

Spring Break 2010

We are having a blast on Spring Break! We have traveled to Florida for fun in the sun! The Easter Bunny even found us down here. The girls each brought a friend this year so we have five kids on this vacation. My how time flies with kids! We did a little shopping today and hit the beach again. Everyone is working on their tans!

RIP Zuzu Bailey Haldrup 11/91-03/10

We had to put our cat, Bailey, to rest almost two weeks ago. It is the hardest thing I have ever had to do and I am still having PTSD from it. She had a good life and will be missed. After I had sent Bailey to Heaven, I went to the beach to walk. While walking on the beach, I looked over a saw a single dolphin who followed me for three breaths of air and then swam off. I know Bailey is in a better place. God bless!

Pinewood Derby 2010

Garrett's Pinewood Derby was yesterday and as always it was exciting down to the last second! Neil and Garrett worked diligently on their car. Garrett's record at the Pinewood Derby from previous years is second and first. This year he came in second. He was surprised he placed at all because we had warned him that he couldn't place every year, but all the hard work paid off. Now Garrett and the other two finalists(1st & 3rd) will compete at the district level on April 22nd. I see more work at perfecting their car between now and then. Race On!

Christmas 2009

Wow, hard to believe that Holidays have already come and gone. We all had such a great time with ALL our families. The Gaddum clan all traveled to Charleston spend Christmas with us and then we took off for Indiana the day after Christmas to spend some time with the Haldrup clan. We were lucky enough to have snow this year in Indiana! Thanks to everyone for all their positive snow thoughts! Unfortunately, I caught some nasty virus during this time and I am still recovering so I have been really slow to download my photos. I just got them onto my computer today! The 3 pictures above are my favorites of my kids in the snow. I will eventually get the rest downloaded soon..........hopefully!!
