Riley's Recital

Riley had her annual recital on June 10th & 11th. As always, her performances were beautiful! We are so proud of her and all her hard work. She just found out this last week that she has a lead roll (on pointe) in her upcoming Holiday Spectacular! We can't wait!

Busy Summer

What I thought would be an easy, relaxing summer has turned into a super busy one! The kids have signed up for last minute camps so I am spending the whole day in the car transporting children. Whew, it's exhausting! On June 11, 2009 the newest Gaddum family member made his arrival into the world. His name is Ian Steve Gaddum and he is adorable! The kids and I made a quick trip up to see Ian and play with Filson on Saturday. The Clark family met us there and the kids had a blast all together! My kids want to go back so watch out Aunt Bea and Uncle John, we will be coming back! Garrett decided to get a buzz cut for the summer, I tried to talk him into just a shorter cut before going all the way buzz, but he had his mind set on getting a total buzz. You can see the result in the pic! Today, Garrett has an award ceremony at his golf camp and Jensen is performing in a show at her Magic Camp. It should be an exciting day!

Vandermark's Visit

Our friends the Vandermark's came down this Sunday from Indiana. The reason for their visit is due to the fact that they lost a bet to us. We all competed in a fantasy football league this past season and the winner had to travel to the losers place of residence. Obviously, Neil & I won and Glen & Sarah lost! Nanny, Sam, and Jack came too and our kids are having a blast playing together. Here are just a few pictures from our beach bocce game the other night.

Garrett's Field Day

Garrett had his field day on Monday and he had a blast! He competed in several events. The one I couldn't believe he competed in was the piggyback race. He and his friend, Thomas, were a team and they are the two of the smallest boys in their class. They did so well that they got their class a big advantage by finishing so fast and their class ended up winning! It was fun to watch him get so into competing!
