Cruise 2009

Here are some pictures of a really nice family we met on the cruise.  They were from Minnesota and had three children Jason(12), Emma(9), and Ben(7).  Jensen and Garrett made fast friends with Emma and Ben, they went to many of the camp activities and other things together.  Riley and Jason did some things together too.  We were fortunate to have met such a great family.

Cruise 2009

These pictures are from Cozumel.  Again the weather was not great, cloudy and windy.  The experience with the dolphins was one we will never forget.  We got to ride the dolphin, hug it, kiss it, and it pushed us each on a boogie board.  In addition, we watched it jump and do tricks.  Unfortunately, they do not let you photograph or video experience because they do it for you and then sell you the product.  If I can't figure out the video, you will have to watch it next time you are with us.

Cruise 2009

More snorkeling in Grand Cayman, but this time it is Garrett and Neil in the water.  You can tell by the photos how overcast it was there.  What you can't see is how windy it was which didn't help when you are wet.  The Iguana was in a cage outside a shop.  Pretty ugly!

Cruise 2009

These are pictures of the ride over to Grand Cayman on the tender.  Also shown are Jensen and Neil snorkeling.  Neil really enjoyed the snorkeling and could of stayed in all day.  Riley and I went in at the first stop which was a shipwreck, but then got too cold and didn't get out for the second stop which was a reef.

The kids got air-brushed tatoos so they are showing them off in some of these pics.

Cruise 2009

We have just returned from a wonderful cruise vacation.  We took a Carnival cruise from Tampa, Florida to Grand Cayman Island and Cozumel, Mexico.  The weather was not the best, but the trip was fantastic.  The kids really enjoyed themselves.  We snorkeled in Grand Cayman and swam with the dolphins in Cozumel.  I am trying to download the video from the dolphins, but I think the format is in Spanish so I am having difficulties.  I won at Bingo twice($110 & $750) and Riley won once($120) so we came off the boat with a credit on our account which NEVER happens.  We were impressed with Carnival, our room was spacious and the bathroom was the biggest we have ever had on a cruise ship.  In addition, somehow we got VIP status which allowed us to avoid all the long lines to get on and off the ship.  I would highly recommend that status for any cruise!!!  Here are some pictures I took, Neil is still working on his photos.  Enjoy!

More Christmas!

Christmas 2008 in Greensboro

We spent Christmas in Greensboro with the Clark family.  Jennifer had the house beautifully decorated, she could compete with Martha!  Everybody had a great time together and Santa was very generous.  Garrett and Holden spent most of the holiday in their pajamas which is their favorite thing to do......have pajama days!
