Riley's 12th birthday!

Neil and I went to see Darius Rucker perform his first country concert.  It was great and we enjoyed the music.  We also had great seats so that makes it even better!  

December Birthdays

We celebrated Ben's birthday(12/1) and Riley's birthday(12/6) a little early since we are never together to enjoy their days.  Ben is now 17 and Riley will be 12.  I think they both enjoyed our little celebration in their honor.

Gobble, Gobble!

It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone!  We had a great holiday with family from Indiana.  Neil's sister, Jane and her husband, Robert and three of their four kids came to spend the Thanksgiving Holiday with us.  Neil's Mom, Nana, also made the journey.  Their time with us was too short, but we made the most of it.  The weather was iffy part of the time, but we find plenty to do.  We so appreciate the effort Jane, Robert, Nana, Ben, Luke, and Emma made to come to us!  Thank you so much!

Rock On Dude!

This a video of Garrett playing the drums.  You can not see him, but you can hear him.  This is his second year of lessons and nobody has heard him play with the exception of his teacher.  He is playing along with some music, he sounds pretty good for 8 years old.

Just Another Saturday

As usual, our Saturday was filled with dance and soccer. Jensen had two games and Riley had several hours of rehearsal. Neil got some soccer pics, unfortunately we didn't get any dance pics because we are not allowed to watch. Yesterday, was the last day of our local fair so we headed out to enjoy some good ole' fried food and ride some rides. I got a couple of pics with my phone camera so they are not that good, but you get the idea!

Champions

Jensen's soccer team played in a soccer tournament this weekend and they won the championship for their bracket!!!  Jensen played very well and scored a goal in each game they played.  She had a blast and would play a tournament every weekend if she could.  Go Red Heat!!!

Happy Halloween!!

We all had a great Halloween here.  This is the first year where all three kids did not trick or treat together.  Riley went with two other friends and they dressed as the Jonas brothers, just in case you can't tell by the pictures.  And Jensen went two of her friends and they all went as pirates.  I do not have any pictures of Jensen dressed up because she went home after school with her friend and spent the night.  I guess they have reached that age.  I took Garrett trick or treating with some friends in a nearby neighborhood.  He had a blast and took home a ton of candy which his Daddy proceeded to raid!  Overall, I would say lots of treats and no tricks here!
